Serves 1.
Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp cornflour
- Vanilla pod or 1sp vanilla extract
- 100ml milk
- Optional – 1/2 tsp sweetener – or try without
Method
- Break the egg, cornflour and if using, sweetener
- Whisk in the milk
- Bring to just under boiling point in a pan with the vanilla pod (or extract), and then simmer for 3-4 minutes to cook the flour
- Remove the vanilla pod, if used, and serve.
