About Marianne Sampson

Marianne Sampson graduated from Cambridge Medical School in 1996. She completed her surgical training from 2002-2009 in various hospitals, including Barts and the London NHS Trust, University College Hospital and Colchester hospital.

During this period, she also did a fellowship at the National Cancer Centre in Tokyo. She became a Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal surgeon at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in 2009 and has been working on developing bariatric surgical services in Reading since then.

Marianne works out of Berkshire Independent Hospital.
