Turn your Christmas leftovers into a flavourful bariatric friendly sandwich.

Makes 1 sandwich.



  • 1/2 slice of wholegrain multi-seed bread or 1/2 pitta toasted
  • Red cabbage
  • Slice of ripe avocado spread as butter or 1 tsp extra light mayonnaise
  • 1 slice turkey (or Quorn if vegetarian)
  • Watercress or rocket
  • 1 tsp cranberry sauce



  1. Spread the avocado spread (or extra light mayonnaise) and cranberry sauce over the slice of wholegrain multi-seed bread (or pitta).
  2. Layer the red cabbage and turkey (or Quorn) on top of the cranberry sauce.
  3. Garnish with water or rocket and enjoy.
