Ayaan qualified as a Dietitian in 2021 after graduating from Coventry University.
She has worked both in the NHS and in the private sector, in fields such as gastroenterology, nutrition support, bariatric surgery and weight management. Her passion is weight management, particularly bariatric surgery, and she was able to move immediately into a specialist career as a bariatric surgery Dietitian after graduating from university.
She is particularly interested in research and has had the opportunity to discuss her findings at the British Dietetic Association (BDA) conference. She also has a background in food journalism, recipe development/food analysis, food styling and food photography after completing her first degree in 2017.
Ayaan now works part-time at Streamline Surgical and joined in 2024. She is looking forward to supporting patients through their journey and helping them to achieve their goals.
