Packed with protein and bursting with flavour, they’re a delicious twist on a classic favourite.

Makes 2 servings.

Stage 3


  • 1 tsp sunflower or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 a red onion, diced small
  • 1x pepper, diced small
  • 1x tomato, diced small
  • 1 tbsp pickled jalapeños (optional), chopped
  • 1x 130g tin of tuna in spring water, drained
  • 1 tsp fajita seasoning
  • 1/2 a small avocado
  • Squeeze of lime juice
  • 2x mini tortilla wraps or taco shells, ideally wholemeal


  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the onion and pepper and fry until softening and beginning to turn golden brown at the edges (5 minutes)
  2. Add the diced tomato and cook for a further minute
  3. Add the tuna, jalapeños and fajita seasoning and stir thoroughly, cooking for a further 3-4 minutes until  the tuna is heated through
  4. Mash the avocado with the lime juice
  5. Smear the avocado on the wraps and then add the tuna mix
