New Gastric Band & Aftercare payment package
At Streamline Surgical we understand that taking the first step to a healthier tomorrow is a big decision and one you have probably been considering for some time. That’s why we are here to help and guide you throughout your weight loss journey.
There are three main surgical procedures that are commonly used in the UK; gastric band, gastric sleeve and a gastric bypass. Our new gastric band and aftercare payment package gives you all the benefits and the quality care of our standard gastric band package but with a more flexible payment plan.
When considering weight loss surgery it is important to fully understand the procedure. Below is a video that we hope you will find useful in explaining how a gastric band works:
Gastric Band package start from £3950 followed by 10 payments of £167 and 2 payments of £165* interest free.
Streamline Surgical exclusively uses the Lap-Band, which is in our opinion the best gastric band available and is the only band approved for use in the USA. Since 1996, over 800,000 people globally have had a Lap-Band. It is a minimally invasive procedure that is designed for long-term use and is approved to use on patients with a higher BMI.
We have been specialists in weight loss surgery for over 10 years. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and all our surgeons participate in the NBSR bariatric registry. You can be confident with the service we provide.
New Gastric band & Aftercare payment plan
Our new gastric band and aftercare payment plan means that you can pay £3950 upfront for the band and then split the remaining cost for your aftercare, £2000, over a 12-month period. INTEREST FREE. The remaining funds will be split into 10 payments of £167 and 2 months of £165*.
Recent research in the bariatric (weight loss surgery) field shows that patients who have frequent and consistent aftercare with their bariatric specialist team have better outcomes. This is a fact we take very seriously at Streamline Surgical. Aftercare can really help you to achieve your optimal goal. Therefore we believe it is in our patients best interest to offer the surgery and aftercare as a package.
All our gastric band packages include:

Chris is a specialist laparoscopic (key-hole), upper GI and bariatric (weight loss) surgeon. He has been an NHS Consultant Surgeon since 2008.
Chris is a recognised trainer of laparoscopic and bariatric surgery for the NHS. He runs a number of successful programmes for surgeons in training.
He is an active member of the specialty associations for laparoscopic and bariatric surgery – The Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons (ALS), The Association of Upper GI Surgeons (AUGIS), The British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society (BOMSS) and The International Federation for Surgery of Obesity (IFSO). He is often invited to present and lecture to other healthcare professionals and patient groups on aspects of laparoscopic and bariatric surgery.
In addition to general surgery Nick specialises in obesity and metabolic surgery, biliary (gallstone) surgery, anti-reflux (hiatus hernia) surgery and hernia surgery.
Nick started off his training in London before moving to the South West and then finally to Dorset and Hampshire for his Specialist Higher Surgical Training. During this time Nick spent two and half years in South Africa working in trauma and General Surgery units and completed his Masters in Surgical Science at Imperial College in London. Mr Alhamdani’s training in bariatric, or obesity, surgery conforms with the criteria required by The British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society (BOMBS) demonstrated by his fellowship in obesity surgery in Sunderland, UK . He provides the full range of obesity surgery procedures. He performs approximately 100 weight loss procedures per year and has a reputation for performing extremely safe surgery with a very low complication rate.
Mr Alhamdani’s priority is the care of his patients. During the consultations that he has, he considers each of his patients to be central to the decision making process for the treatments suggested. Many different factors need to be considered to achieve the best results after surgery and not every procedure is suitable for every patient.
A gastric band isn’t the right choice for everyone so it is important to find out if you are likely to achieve the results you’re hoping for from this procedure. Therefore the first step to check if you are a good candidate is to have a FREE no-obligation consultation with one of our above expert bariatric surgeons by calling 0800 157 7033 or fill in our online form to request a call from our specialists bariatric support team.
